Birth Support
Continuous, judgment-free support through labor and delivery, plus help turning your wishes into a birth plan your care team understands.
Birth & Postpartum Doula Care ยท Phoenix Metro, AZ
From birth through the fourth trimester, you deserve a village around you. We help build it: rest, heal, and bond with your baby while someone else holds the rest.
How We Help
Postpartum support is not one size fits all. We bring whatever this season actually calls for.
Continuous, judgment-free support through labor and delivery, plus help turning your wishes into a birth plan your care team understands.
The postpartum period can feel overwhelming and isolating. We sit with you, listen without judgment, and help you feel less alone in it.
Meals, light household tasks, and newborn care while you nap or shower: small things that add up to real rest.
A new baby changes the whole household. We support partners and older siblings as everyone finds their footing together.
What Makes Us Different
I'm Tamekia, the founder of She Deserves a Doula and a certified postpartum doula. I've lived the postpartum experience and understand how overwhelming and isolating it can feel, especially when family isn't nearby. As a military dependent, I know firsthand what it's like to navigate birth and postpartum recovery without a built-in village.
Every woman deserves this level of care.
That belief is why I'm building the village I didn't have: doulas chosen for their heart, not just their credentials. This isn't a job for a paycheck, it's support during one of the most vulnerable times in a woman's and a family's life, from labor through the fourth trimester.
More About Us"We didn't realize how much support we needed until Tamekia showed up. She helped our whole family transition, and by the end our older child was asking for her. She became part of our home in the best way."
